How to Find Lost Windows Phone ???

Have you lost your windows phone or somehow it have been stolen?? Is your phone stuck in sofa and you are not able to find it?? This is the most irritating and annoying moment when this things happens with your Windows phone. But easy, you can find your phone, know where it is, ring it and erase it also with the help of Microsoft's "Find my phone" web based service. I will show you in this tutorial that how to find lost Windows phone.

Step # 1

First thing first is you have to change settings in your Windows phone. Go to settings > find my phone. Just tap on both check boxes. You can see that in below screenshot.

Now log in into https://www.windowsphone.com/en-us. Select find my phone option. You can see in screenshot.

Log in to your Microsoft account and select Find My Phone

Step # 3

You can see your phone's name, your phone number (in black box) and some other options like Ring,Lock and Erase.

1. Ring: If your phone is near by you and, like it's just stuck in sofa, so at that time this will helpful.When you click on RING option, it will Ring your phone loudly even if your Windows phone is in silent mode.

2. Lock: If your phone is lost somewhere at that time, it will lock your phone as well as you can display message on screen, so anyone who will get your phone, can contact you by that displayed message.

3. Erase: If you think that now there is no chance to get back your phone, so at that time this option will Erase your phone's data, formats your phone.
